30 Bananas a Day!

I started this lifestyle (raw till 4) in january of 2014. I came from restricting and iver working my body and weighing 118. Every since i changed to this lifestyle i've gain so much weight :( i thought i was going to lose! I know it takes time for detox and healing, but is it normal to gain this much weight? Am i doing something wrong? i eat 2000-2500 cals a day and bike 2-3 times a week.

Its possible if you came from restricting diet to have your body gain weight while it fix your metabolism. Watch your fats and Caffeine can come into play aswell if you take caffeine? Lots of sleep?. 

It's completely normal. I've also gained about 15 pounds +/-, and when you come from restriction you kind of have to "repay" your calorie depth. You will lose the excess weight that you've gained, unless you were underweight to begin with. I wouldn't call it "detox", but it is definitly a part of healing. Make sure to drink enough water, sleep enough and exercise consistently. :) 

next time i get down about my weight, ill keep in mind it's just part of the healing process :)

Hey Lauren. my stats are the EXACT same as you. I've gained 15 pounds too in 5 months. came from restricting.. really hating it and I've probably gained more but i stopped weighing myself. Can't wait til it starts coming off! I exercise 5 times a week and have a very active job on my feet all day. It may take its sweet time to come off though.. I know I hurt my body pretty bad... I just want to stop gaining.

i want to stop gaining too, it makes me feel so much worse. Freelee said at the beginning she gained weight too so i guess it's something most people have to go through while starting out. 

Is it just weight on the scale or does it look like fat on your body? 

Make sure you get 2,500 calories minimum! And on exercise days eat more!
If you don't eat enough your just delaying the healing process

If you come from a restricting past 2000-2500 calories is not enough especially if you excercise. I would reccomend you eat at least 3500
