Towards the end of March (23rd) I'm going to Costa Rica with 2 friends. We land in San Jose and then we'll decide on the spot what to do / where to go. I've heard Costa Rica is a very wild / natural place and what we wanna do is to live just on fruits, travel with the bus and sleep on the beach / forest in a tent. Do u think that will be possible? Would it be easy to find fruits in every city? Where do u suggest us to go for the night if we wanna sleep in atent or spending as less as possible? Also, will mangoes be in season towards the end of March / April? Thats my favourite fruit and if i'll go there i wanna have a real tree ripened mango (possibly harvested by myself from the tree) at every hour. is it a dream? or it can be true?
Hi! I am goin to costa rica in the same dates too!, I plan to arrive to san jose on March 22nd or 23rd too!!
In my research I saw many people saying that is not easy to find organic fruits... that is one of the reasons why I start to research about organic fruit farms and raw vegan communities in costa rica... and I found many of them!
So, at the moment my idea is to go and relax in one of those communities for maybe a week, because after that I will be busy (I am going to costa rica to participate in a bio-construction workshop)
Anyway, keep in contact! and share info, we maybe can meet somewhere there!
And if we dont see each other there... have a nice and crazy adventure!
