30 Bananas a Day!

I'm looking for info from people above age 50 that eat hcrv. How large are your meals typically? Do you still eat 5-15 bananas? I am writing recipes to recommend to general public and could use the feedback. Any info would be very appreciated!

I am 54 and eat 2500 to 3000 calories a day. I don't eat bananas every day but when I do I usually eat 8 or 9 per meal for one or two meals.

I usually walk at least six miles a day for my exercise.

Thanks Diane

I am 50 and I eat a lot of bananas, some days 10-15.  I haven't been calorie counting but I eat a lot.  Additionally. I play ice hockey, soccer, mountain bike and bike commute to work (14 miles).  The HCLF lifestyle has been working well for me, I am 90 days in.  I am primarily raw but I do eat some rice and beans, obviously both cooked.  In my opinion, there is no age limitation to this lifestyle.

Thanks Greg

I've been nearly perfect 811rv most of the past 8 years. I hardly noticed that I broke that 50 year barrier a few years ago. I still feel like a teenager most of the time. Usually I get in about 10-12 bananas a meal. Nothing much changed after I got past 50. I can add some more exercise to my life but through the years I was commuting by bicycle and walking a lot, a bit of strength exercise, stretching etc. I think I must eat about 2500 to 3000 calories a day but I never count I just eat until full. I usually try to get in as much leafy greens as I could as well, mostly baby lettuces or baby spinach.

Thanks Ian wow I didn't think you were 50 or above or anywhere near that hahah

I'm 50   typically eat 3000-3500 calories  with  4 meals of 700-900 calories and I am doing RT4.

I like 6-10 bananas chopped with some mango and or some berries and or dates  in wooden bowl

1 hour a day of cycling or running &  20 pushups  one day complete rest

I am 55 and am not very strict about being raw all the time. But I am vegan (24 days now) and seeing a lot of improvements already! Having my 7 banana smoothie at the moment and had 1.5 melons for my breakfast previously. I will probably have a huge mashed potatoes plate and a salad for my dinner.

I am trying to heal my thyroid and other problems so can't say that I have a fountain of energy yet.

I work with books so it involves lifting moderate weight boxes, bending, reaching, etc. Planning to walk more in the spring and ride my bike on the beautiful trail in my town.

Now you can't be vegan 'cause... Mineral levels in plants are depleted. LifeRegenerator lacks sense
