hiya fam! so i am a super newbie to not only this forum but also this great 80.10.10 adventure ... so pls. be gentle ;)
so i have a question ... was doing some digging on food combining + came across an article called: Food Combining for Digestion Perfection by Dr. David Klein. in this article he mentions that we should not combine acid fruits (e.g., citrus, pineapple, mango, BERRIES, kiwi, tomato) with non-acid sweet fruits (e.g., apple, pear, grape, banana, dates, papaya). feel like a lot of smoothie recipes i've seen + personally use include bananas + dates with berries, pineapple and kiwi.
what say you folkers? any reaction?
also, one other quick question, while i am here ... i LOVE dates (as it seems many of you do) ... are the ones that i can pick up at say Whole Foods considered dehydrated or dried (like raisins) and, if so, is that counter to 80.10.10? pls. enlighten the naive (a.k.a. ME!!). thanks guys + happy sunday!!
thanks joanna! 'ppreciate the response
i too have no issues combining any fruit or veg...i think trial and error is in order, there are charts but there not rule per say
there is sooo much info on this site so thanks for digging this up for me!! amazing :)
amazing resource!! thx so much!!
