I'm with Mark - I love it! :)
I eat it almost every day sometimes two times a day. I love it with different marinara sauces i make. I also most of the times add cucumber, spinach, arucula, sweet apple or some other stuff in there =) also sometimes iceberg or romain just for more food :D
I live in Denmark and you can order it at rawandmore.dk
Personally, I'm fine with zuc's, but I've occasionally heard some folks don't jive with them.
In that case, cukes make a fine and slightly softer and juicier substitute.
It's good you mentioned this zucchini pasta, I dont like zucchini pasta much when I use a potato peeler to make strips. I am thinking of buying a spiralizer but I am curious to know whether the taste will be much better?
For me texture is very important and can alter the 'taste', the pasta looks so nice on all the videos....
Can anyone give me an option who have tried both...is the taste any different?
Celia, I just used my spirooli for the 1st time a week ago, the zucchini was ok, but I have seen some nice looking "other" vegetables, this thread might be of interest, why not have several varieyies in a salad ;)
Thanks Brett, I had a look so there are lots of other veggies apart from cougettes! I've ordered my spiralizer today, hoping that will help me get through the awful transitional stage!
Zucchini pasta is amazing!! I love it so much and eat it about every second day for dinner.. this year we have grown our own zucchinis in the garden and they are soo delicious ;D
My pasta usually consits of: zucchini noodles + blended tomatoes with mango
