My father is 65 years old and had a heart attack two days ago. He's already had two stents put in and this time his vein was to occulded so all they can do is up his medication. This worries me so much, he has three grandchildren and one on the way. So needless to say he needs to be around for another 20-30 years atleast. Also Im no where near ready for him to go! So my question is besides Prevent and Reverse Heart disease and FOK is there any other good books/movies I can buy him?
I'm so sorry to hear this.
Is there any way you could just sit down with him, no distractions, and have a talk about his health and how this diet (assuming he doesn't follow this diet) could help?
Im pretty awful at talking to him about these things! It never comes out right. I talked to him yesterday and he plans on making a white castle stuffing..So I decided that I should get some of these tools that do a great job at explaining these things plus it'll be some proof as well.

Make him some kick ass low fat vegan food and just let him eat it. Don't call it vegan, just make it and serve it. Keep the recipes simple so he can learn how to cook the stuff he likes. Show him this: http://vimeo.com/31181896
