30 Bananas a Day!

I've been eating high raw high carb low fat vegan for 2 months now and my digestion sucks?? My poop is weird and flaky, not very solid, and I seem to have a lot of gas in my stomach because I'm farting A LOT. Its quite annoying. And my poo doesn't come out all at once sometimes, which leaves me feeling uncomfortable. Sometimes I see bits of the food I ate in my poo, like tiny bits of lettuce leaves. What could be the problem? Poor food combining?

Water and good food combining help for sure.

Also if you find some pieces of the food you ate in your stool it's because you are having issues digesting it. It might be because of food combining but it might also be because your body doesn't know how to process it.

Try to eat simple meals at first and if you notice the same undigested food in your stool try replacing it (like spinach instead of lettuce for example, or any other kind of leafy green you like). 

Okay thanks so much! I do try to eat simple but its difficult sometimes with my mom going "thats all you're going to eat?"

Simple eating is the way to go! There's really only one food combining rule, and its this: Don't! 

Monomeals are best. One fruit at the time, when hungry until satisfied! Anything else will digest less than ideal. However, sometimes we humans wanna play with our food and combine stuff, I know, and that's fine as long a we play by the food combining guidelines. What does a typical day look like for you in terms of your meals?

Undigested food particles are quite normal and not necessarily a problem, it's mostly the fibrous cellulose parts of the food!

I'm not very good with monomeals to be honest! I tend to mix up food when I don't have enough of one kind of fruit.

Typical day: 

Breakfast - 6 bananas

Recess - 500g grapes

Lunch - 4 plums and lettuce

Dinner: Rice and curry

Sometimes after dinner I eat raisins. 

hey Sophia, i've noticed your food log of what you eat on a typical day and i've noticed that's you're eating so little fruit and especially calories. I calculated approximately how much you ate of fruit ONLY and it was less than 1,000 calories. That's not enough, and I couldn't calculate how much rice and curry you're because I don't know the portion size you're eating. But i'm guessing It's small. Now I encourage you to eat more, but i know why you're having digestion issues.

   One you don't specify if you're not drink water. you need to always drink a liter of water in the morning and in between meals (30 mins before you eat

).

   Now bananas are not the problem but the only problem is that you're not eating enough of them. 

Hi Johnny, thanks for taking the time to reply. I typically eat 2000 calories a day. Usually it's 1000 from fruit and the rest from rice pasta potatoes corn corncakee etc. I don't feel like I need to eat more because sometimes my stomach swells up so much after I eat. I've tried eating more and it basically leaves me sick and immobile and all I can do is lie down till the feeling goes away. I'm pretty small, 5ft and I'm 15. As for drinking water I do think I need to work on that. I drink enough, about 2-3l a day and I pee clear: I think I need to work on the timing as I usually drink immediately before my meals. Thanks for the advice! I'll try to eat more fruit and less cooked but it's expensive!!
