Its all about eating and living for stamina. 5k races are short but really builds threshold stamina when done on a weekly basis. www.parkrun.com put on free timed and measured 5k races all over the globe. There could be one near you. Train up for a 5k. NOBODY running sub 20min 5k has an excess weight problem. :)
Won a 5k today on the Gold Coast.
17:19 certified course. Ran with a stitch after 1km. Wasn't too bad though but just did enough to win.
great to see these consistent results. athleticism and health go hand in hand
So what are you saying? Just because I can't break 20 minutes on my 5K yet, I might have an excess weight problem? Careful, I might sue you for this! :D congrats, man
Amazing, plant power.
Do your fellow Australians know by now that when you line up that they have some serious competition? Would love to get inside some of the brains of your competitors. :) Congrats.
Great result :)
is that your PB?
:) well done. you made me feel like running!!
I was thinking this morning about David W..
what if you simply add a disclaimer to your site/this forum etc
saying "PS David Wolfe does NOT endorse this site/forum and I'm proud of that!"
Eh eh, anyway, as you said, the best defence in these cases of adult bullism as I call it
is not owning assets. They don't go for people who can't pay back all the legal expenses.
Hopefully he'll "cease and desist" very fast and leave you alone.
All the best
Awesome ...your name was swimming in my head as I came 3rd in this 9k off road extreme event last weekend (my first ever race in anything, did it in 58:41 ) 'fruits your friend' you kept saying in my head, as I was pounding the elements and zipping from the back of the pack to the front. The legs were strong but the lungs were struggling towards the end ... ANY TIPS FOR LUNG STAMINA ????
