Hi everyone! I recently thought of the idea of drinking smoothies all day long, because I hate eating large amounts of food all at once. It always leaves me feeling uncomfortable and surprisingly, hungry about 2 hours later. However, drinking smoothies helps me get in enough calories and makes me feel happy and satisfied throughout the day.
HOWEVER - I know the debate is out there about grazing v. 2-3 large meals. Is there a reason that drinking smoothies throughout the day could be unhealthy? Logic tells me that if my smoothies are healthy and I feel happy, it's a good thing, but I'd love to hear opinions on this.

I'm a newbie here, but I drink smoothies 2-3 times a day and my smoothies vary from all fruit to green smoothies. Sometimes I purchase the actual fruit and veggies to make the smoothies and other times truly I buy Bolthouse Farms smoothies, when I need something quick and I mix it with bananas and dates generally to add a little texture. Since the dates don't moosh and blend too well....there you go...Im chewing the dates. I think its important to have smoothies were there is texture and you are doing a little chewing to work those chomps and jaw muscles.
Most importantly...simply love the smoothie, drink all that goodness and be sure to wipe your mouth afterwards :), but yeah...a fruit mustache can be kinda hot! Ha! Power to the Smoothie! Drink away.
Again, I'm a newbie at all this....Bolthouse, fresh fruit, sliced and diced or whatever...I'm simply doing what I'm doing at the place I'm at and I'm cool with it at this point. Days, weeks and months down the road...I will keep learning and continue to transition. Some days I don't have much time to slice and dice and sometimes I do, sometimes I simply like the Bolthouse, sometimes I will chow down on apples all day or whatever. So, its all good.
