my name is mia and I'm 26 years old. I have been a vegan for about a year now and have joined this 30 bananas a day to get advise. get healthy and hopefully do a high carb raw vegan lifestyle. I am a big drinker and really want to kick this habit in. I was wondering if any of you had any advise on quoting drinking or had any experience in the pass with kicking the habit of something out of your life. also wondering if any one could give me the low down on how day alcohol is for you?

Hey Mia! I come from a background of heavy drinking myself. It is very tricky at first cutting it out but you have to get in the mind set that once you stop taking in the volume that you used to, your body will begin healing. I rarely drink anymore. Maybe once or twice a month and I will only have a drink or two. Once you start eating healthier, I don't know what it is, but you just don't want to ruin all the hard work you have put into making yourself feel better. You begin to see a lot more clearly and you truly realize that you do not need booze to make life better. It is so amazing just the way it is! Booze free!
