i would very much like to return your favor by helping you in your cause. however, the only links you gave are to a closed petition and a letter to the US congress, which requires me to a US citizen to be able to sign...
is there anything else i can do?
i am deeply sorry if i don't express how much i am horrified and disturbed by this news. it is that i currently lack the time to write more elaborately. i thank you for calling my attention to something which existence i entirely ignored.
i keep asking myself why anyone would do so pointless things as using dogs as live targets or mutilating animals. even if we were to ignore the whole issue of animal rights, there seems to be no rational justification for doing so. even if one were to see a dog as a being which is not capable of suffering, why would it be any more advantageous to shoot a live dog than a puppet?
perhaps you have some idea regarding this.
thank you daniel.
unfortunately, the way the mechanism is setup we have to have a usa address to input. i used to have one handy, but lost it. possibly they think only usa addresses will be taken seriously.
i think the best thing to do is to tell others about this one. even if they can't send an email, they can be aware. it's being handled by peta2 so it will get lots of response i'm sure. they do a good job.
animals are abused like this because oppressors think they can do whatever they want to helpless victims. some will babble the usual garbage like what's more important your country or a dog. others enjoy the torturing. we aren't dealing with psychologically sensible people here and are barely one step away from this sort of thing:
you can see what they did to the goats here:
the army has been stopped in certain places, so this 'tradition' is likely going to end before too long just like vivisection. however, we need to be vigilant and vocal.
Thanks Prad for bringing us this information.
Signed! Thank you.
