(If this is the wrong forum to post this in, I apologize! Didn't think it would fit in any other forum to discuss besides from this one, just in case people get passionate about the issue! ;)
Has anyone been keeping track of this? This petition was recently added last month (on July 19th), and makes me excited to see there are some people who have the positions to advocate are actually suggesting things into the right direction.
We still have a long ways to go yet as a nation on our food politics, but this makes me hopeful that at least something is being said:
Also, here's the very petition that was submitted. I've been trying to find something online where other people can sign up for the petition, perhaps writing Miss Audrey Rowe listed with the address could be useful? ;)
This was a very appropriate addition and something some of our activists might be interested in.
Thanks for sharing.
One of my distinct memories from primary school here in the UK is when they stopped giving us milk in the classroom, I used to see the crates upon crates of little milk bottles stacked up every morning and then suddenly they weren't there any more, that was 40 years ago.
Another moment was when professional footballers stopped drinking milk during the half-time interval, it used to be common practise then overnight it just stopped.
I put cow's milk in the 'unnatural foods' category, it's perfect for calves but that's all.
