I love to exercise and I will have "rest days" from time to time, but I never plan them in advance. I simply take them whenever I feel that I need one.
You dont train intensely but you think you do. What your doing at your BMI is wasting away your bone density and setting yourself up to look like a balding, freaking out, bag of broomsticks.
I was out riding with Lance today and pro teams all week and have only seen a few seconds here and there of real intensity. Lots of easy/tempo riding though.
I have rest days/weeks and months where I make sure that I eat extra and move less. Lets me be who I need to be when I need it most.
Hey Harley, I have actually put on some weight. I am starting to gain weight slowly. Your right I probably should cut back on the exercise. I just love running so much. How much exercise do you think is a good amount for me? Thx for the reply.
Use training programmes as guidlines. Listen to your body as the absolute. MODIFY your workout according to how you feel and UNDERSTAND that how we feel now aint always how we will feel in 2 minutes or 2 hours..
