Let's see, over the years, I've incorporated Crossfit, Bodyrock, sprinting, those wicked tabatas Kim mentioned (4 min of 20 seconds on/10 sec off is standard) and just completed today--Insanity!
I'd say i favor HIT :)
Woohoo!! ROCK IT WINDLORD!
Yeah Tabata is usually 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off.. but unfortunately my treadmill only saves programs in segments of minutes... blasted technology.:(
Also, Insanity is awesome!!!!!!!
Cool, thank's so much for all your lovely posts :) I'm really excited to try new workouts at high Intenstiy now.. Yes, I also think that both is important - intensity & endurance.. and to challenge your body always a little different
You want to do both
High intensity calisthenics. Sooo many runners here lol
I recommend doing both! I like to go for a long run before I do HIIT/plymetric training. HIIT really gets the heart rate up and is a great and creative way to burn calories.
