30 Bananas a Day!

I totally have to do this now to not look sort of weird in the torso.

But I don't like doing it because it often makes my voice higher, y'know, to not engage the diapraghm while speaking. It gives me a sort of constricted, choked-up voice.

I know when I was in my early teens I had to seriously try to push my belly out.

Honestly I can't tell for sure, but it seems like even freelee has to hold hers in.

What about you guys?

Try Traditional Medicinals Lavender & Chamomile tea, if gas and bloating is really bothering you.

Also, things like walking and yoga help to strengthen your core muscles.

I've done this for so long it's like a reflex now lol. I don't do it ALL the time though. Whenever I'm sitting I don't or whenever I'm engaged in physical activity. Basically only when I'm standing lol.

I do hold it in most of the time. But it began when I was like 14 or so, it's better for posture and makes you look skinnier. At that time that was important. :-D

Since I'm vegan I look like I'm pregnant when I push it out heheheh. :-D

Lol I concur with the pregnancy comment, I even mentioned it in a question to Plant-Based Athlete. 

He's vegan too but doesn't have that problem, here's his reply.

I just watched that vid and didn't hear him address this issue. I was curious about this too (in general).

Stand and sit up straight!  Relax your shoulders.  Helps pull in the tummy without trying.

I used to hold in my tummy everyday when I was in my teens...made it a habit and now have better stomach muscles for it.  It improves digestion and muscle tone of muscles that you will engage (obliques and deep muscles) that you normally wouldn't.  Also makes you work your back muscles.  These are habits one should have before they get old and "can't" make it a habit and have a look of a gut.

If you are trying to hold in your tummy after eating...that's gonna not feel good at best.  If you are using your muscles when not eating, then you won't have such a tummy sag after eating.
