It does not have to be before 4 of course. the idea is to get in at least 2000 calories from fruit before you eat the cooked meal. To increase your hunger, do some vigorous exercise every day and make sure you are well hydrated, (peeing clear about 10 times a day).

Also, you don't really need to follow some strict guideline, if you wanna have cooked for lunch, go for it. If you watch Durianrider's latest "what i ate today" video, he actually ate all cooked.
