Maybe even better than 811 dressings:
Blended dried food.
First, I put a small handful of sundried tomatoes in the vitamix on high. Then I added (blending on med-low):
handful freeze-dried peas
handful freeze-dried corn
I also added the following, but you could leave them out if you wanted:
small garlic clove
half a dried olive
1/8 cup pine nuts
a few tsp of dulse flakes
I added this to a salad of spring greens and teeny Joyce Chen zuke noodles. And I'm about to go make some more, it's so good :-)
You could even do just the sundried tomatoes!
I've had no digestive problems with dried foods when I eat them in this way--broken down, and with high-water content foods. Freeze dried food is really tasty for when I'm travelling and need something to eat until I can get to a grocery and ripen up the fruit.
Sounds awesome! :)
Actually, it reminds me of grill/barbecue seasonings I used to put on everything
