I am a newbie, just started this diet a few days ago and feel like my digestion is almost slower or just more difficult. My stomach feels bloated and I definitely have gas pains. I am just wondering if I am mixing the wrong foods or if there is anything I should avoid in the beginning?
I just bought a box of bananas, oranges, mangos, and some frozen fruit for smoothies. I also love munching on dates so I have been munching on those throughout the day. I ate about 6 oranges at lunch and my stomach did not feel too great afterwards. Any advice?
I can tolerate oranges very well in juice form, first thing in the morning. Great coffee replacement!
Hey! I've been raw for 9 months and sometimes even I still get stomach pains after meals. Every time that happens it's either because I didn't drink enough water before, or because I ate too fast. It's really hard for me to eat slowly because I love fruit so much, but if I don't force myself to chill between bites I'll finish a 10 banana smoothie in 10 minutes, and that is a HUGE quantity to have hit your stomach that quickly. You might not have to cut anything out! Try just remembering to drink water before, be mindful during, and combine properly!
