Dates are very sweet and simply delicious, and that can be the cause for a craving right there. It could be that your body is wanting more calories also. If you feel good wh;en you eat them, embrace the craving. Craving something is not a bad thing. It is your body signaling you that your hungry. What you choose to eat when you get a craving is what will define it a good thing or a bad thing.
I myself have had such a love for dates at certain times that i eat myself literally sick from eating too many. They are just so good. For some reason though, i cant eat more than 10 or 15 in one sitting or i start to feel kinda weird.
maybe I'll go on date island for a little bit lol...at least I'll be eating a ton of dates purposefully :) And I'm trying to get in more carbs today. I've got 27 very ripe bananas calling my name! Could always make a great banana-date shake...my new favorite song is about that combo :p
