Listen, I hate treadmills. I don't know why, I just do. So running in the gym this winter is not really an option for me, and I'd rather run outside anyway. I live in New York (not the city), and most of winter we'll probably be sitting around 0-20 degrees Fahrenheit, and it's been in the 40s the past week (with wind and rain). Last year I was gifted fancy-expensive wool leggings (made for living in sub-zero degree mountain weather) for Christmas, and with my inability to waste anything I did and do wear them both for daily wear under my clothes and exercise.
I need something cruelty-free though, something I won't feel guilty wearing every day. I'll still wear my wool under my jeans (as I still wear my old uggs that I can't simply waste), but I need something very warm but also good for running. I don't know about underarmour's coldgear line, but my intuition tells me there's got to be an animal in there somewhere (I don't know much about the way animals go into fabrics). If anybody could help me, I'd really appreciate it. Oh, and for the most part I'm looking for pants/leggings - I'm already pretty set on the top half of my body, and I can crochet my own hats/gloves/socks.
Thanks! I'm thinking of investing in one of the Underarmour coldgear leggings to keep my tush warm :)
