30 Bananas a Day!

Hi guys, I feel like my body is playing some jokes on me because when I was on my normal vegan whole foods diet(when my fruit was around only 5 portions a day) I craved the sugar, and now I'm on 80/10/10 eating plenty of fruit I crave savoury foods!! I have a lower blood pressure also so I do let myself have some salt as I find that some pink himalayan salt ups my pressure a bit and I don't notice too much bloating. I'm not 100% raw but I'm high raw(my cooked foods are basically roast vegetables, crackers here and there, some almond butter that I'm not sure is raw or not, bean soup/rice a couple times a week, some heated green veggie soup, and occasionally for an event like a pizza lunch at my school which isn't often). I always keep it vegan and relatively low fat - once a week I like to go to my local raw cafe and try a slice of raw vegan cheesecake as a bit of a treat. Has anyone else experienced these kind of savoury cravings on a high raw diet, and what have you done? 

Also, my school is organising a pizza lunch in about a week or so. If i'm having vegetarian, gluten free pizza without cheese, will that be okay or have any effect on my progress?

Eating about 1/2-2 heads of lettuce greens a day can help with salt cravings.  Some people like tomatoes too.  Celery is high sodium, but may cause digestive upsets and break outs in some people. 

Make sure you are getting enough nutrient dense calories.  Vegan pizza on occasion will probably not hurt you, but make sure other meals are nutrient dense.  A mono snack or meal of oranges early in the day can set you up for a good start.

Other than that, you can read our info and try to troubleshoot your diet.
