I have an omniblend, its 3HP so very high powered and brilliant for anything I throw in it. had it for about a year never any issues and I use it at least daily and throw in dates, frozen bananas or ice and it blitzes through it all.
I paid $280 Aust Dollars for the 1.5litre but now im planning to buy the 2L jug as I am a big eater :)
I'm seconding the Omniblend (I have the V aka 5 version) and paid $319, delivered, via ebay in Australia. I enjoy using it more than I did my Vitamix because it has a power button before it starts and a Blendtec-style 1.5L jug. My 2L Vitamix jug fits it perfectly, too.
So is Omniblend better than Vitamix and cost about the same?
I like it better than Vitamix and costs MUCH less.
In Australia, Vitamix = $800+, Omniblend = $319.
My nutribullet makes perfect smoothies and is the easiest to clean up. I prefer it for its portability, compact size( to fit under counters) and quick cleaning. Great for small batch blending like raw, fresh salad dressing. Large meals/snacks might be too much for this small but mighty blender, though (then go to a blendtec or vitamix). I had bad experiences with a ninja...it pooped out quickly.
How much did that cost?
