30 Bananas a Day!



I recently showed someone screenshots of my cronometer daily count of vitamins an minerals, obviously some of the calculations were off the chart, for instance Vitamin A was over 2000%, now i alf expected this, but i have now been told that overdosing on these vitamins is the cause of osteoperosis etc and many other ailments.


Can anyone give me a few lines to answer this with as i am not sure here what to say in defence.


Also, regarding the %'s on crono, is that a percentage of RDA

Hi Rich..=) I personally dont think you have anything to worry about unless you were eating a lot of brazil nuts because of the selenium. Natural vegetable vitamin A is different than what you would find in eating liver for instance. A sled dog racer died from a vitamin A overdose from eating his dogs livers when he was stranded so that is where people get the idea that you can die from vitamin A.

The rdas for vitamins are the lowest a person should go before they start showing deficiencies- so those are the very low levels. I have heard about the kind of philosophy you are talking about and a friend of mine sent me this link about a site he is starting to talk about stuff like that. He has been studying it with some Dr.s where he lives and is very well educated in it so you may want to ask him.

I agree we can get overloaded with certain things and that is why fasting can be important for some people. But anything like that should be done with extreme caution. That famous magician did a televised fast for appx 40 days and had to be hospitalized because he got severe water building up around his ankles and other areas so that his heart could have stopped. I think he went into fibrillation from it..

Other than vit A what have you been getting the highest vitamin readings in?

Thanks for you answer. yes i get high readings on everything (see attachment for a typical day), as you would expect. Not worried about it but just looking for some knowledge back up when beng questioned/challenged by others.

I should jsut add, although i see the benefit of fasting, i thought it wasabout getting better from the old way of eating, ie SAD/SUKD, i don't think80 10 10 should itself give rise to the need to fast, however, i'm prepared to be wrong on that, but its an optimum diet, so why would i need to heal from it. That said, we are all still taking in all the other toxins from the pollution etc, so can be benefical to fast for that reaosn no matter what your diet is like.

but i didn't envisage having to fast in order to detox from an abundance of vitamins from wholefoods.
yeah- thats pretty much what i think- no need to fast from whole foods. (If you were eating a lot of tuna for instance- that can be an issue from mercury) that would be different. But yeah I would like to hear an "official " response as well about this from someone who has studied it more.
