I think what ever digests better for you is the healthier option. I would god with brown rice since the texture is better in my opinion.
i sometimes have brown rice pasta and sometimes have corn-rice pasta though the corn rice pasta contains sunflower lecithine or something like that don't know if that's good or bad..
the brown rice pasta is way more expensive though.. think even one package is more expensive and it's only 250g while the corn rice is 500g
btw i assume i can consider brown rice pasta as brown rice?
Also cook it in distilled water world of difference.. i only drink and use distilled water.
no, there's actually brown rice pasta! http://www.lundberg.com/product/organic-brown-rice-spaghetti-pasta/
i also enjoy eating plain brown rice but i wanted to know about the pasta as well.
yeah i know, i eat it regularly, but when i fill it in on cronometer for example i can just consider it brown rice.. or is it nutritionally that much worse? anyway in terms of calories it's basically equal.
I use both, but for brown rice I use a long grain brown, it is easier to really chew, I think sometimes it is easy to swallow rice whole. But I am also LOVING corn pasta! I get Mrs Leeper's brand in the spiral so it holds onto sauce a bit better.
Both are fine but I prefer corn pasta. It just digests so smooth for me, possibly better than any other cooked food. Corn pasta is also much more similar to real semolina pasta than brown rice pasta. I like rice noodles but if I'm going to have it I'll go for Chinese style vermicelli.
