30 Bananas a Day!

I'm slightly confused on food combining. Do sweet fruits and greens combine well? For example would a smoothie of baby spinach, bananas and water be a good idea (it certainly *sounds* good right now :) )

Not a good tasting combo in my opinion.
Zucchini shouldn't pose a problem in most cases though.
People also react differently to zucchini it seems, so you have to try it.
I tend to eat all non-sweet fruit(tomato, cucumber, pepper, zucchini, etc) together and maybe add a citrus type if anything, rather than adding a sweet fruit.
thanks for the reply, I know it sounds like a funny combo and at first I thought yuk too. but I love spiralized zuc and thought it would be interesting to try with the blended bananas and baby spinach for dinner...
Bananas and sweet fruit are great with lettuce, celery and spinach.. might try it with the zuc and let you know how it goes.
I had buckwheat lettuce with my blended banana for dinner last night, it grows wild in our backyard, it is a really nice green, it's like a combination of lettuce and baby spinach..
I had spiralized zuchini with chopped cavandish bananas, with blended lady fingers over the top.. it was pretty darn good I must say.. this is my favourite combo but I added the zuchini with it tonight to see what it was like. Not something ill do all the time but nice for a dinner meal!
Neal... for me, it's because I've at various points been incredibly out of touch with my body. My pre-raw diet wasn't just SAD, it was tragic. I didn't realize how bad it made me feel until I began eating in ways that felt better. So I want to know what the recommendations are for food combining so I can try them and see how they feel, and how that feeling compares to eating as I have been eating.

I think its poignant to note that your efficiency in digesting "poor" or "fair" combos is going to depend on your current state of digestive health, hydration and emotional poise. Another factor to consider is the individual peice of fruit, for instance a really really sweet strawberry mixed with banana may bring you little to no troubles, while a really tart strawberry will much more so. Another key concept to consider is the quantities mixed, if say you do 5/6 ths banana and 1/6th strawberry you probably will not notice any problems, while 1/2 and half will usually give you problems. Greens go great with all fruit, some even say watermelon although ill admit to me this sounds quite unappealing. To me there is nothing in this world that is black and white solid rules, rather tools for Optimal digestion. The way it can be made to sound would sudgest even a slight abberation would result in disaster n no nutrients being absorbed. The more delicate your digestion the more important to Really stick to 100% proper food combining and mono meals. Most find that sticking it "pure" becomes desired more n more till it simply is a preference. I know it is with me although I dont sweat it if I have something not "optimal" on occasion, my strong digestion can take it.
