30 Bananas a Day!

Do any of you prefer your fruit colder? I find that almost every fruit tastes better when it is fresh out of the fridge. I understand that this is not the ideal temperature to eat fruit but does anyone know why I like it like this?

i literally don't like to eat anything cold, or hot for that matter ;-)

not sure why you do, but there are a lot of ppl who like some foods, particularly fruit, served chilled.. my guess is that you will get over this with time.. go to thailand and have some sun-warmed namdokmai mangos and try to argue that they'd taste better chilled lol
I prefer not to eat things out of the refridgerator but this is generally what happens anyways. When I can I plan ahead and take out what I'm going to eat for breakfast when I got to bed so it will be room temp when I wake up.

Traditional Chinese medicine rarely has any "DO THIS, NOT THIS" rules--it is based a lot on balancing things and relationships but one hard and fast rule most TCM practitioners stick to is to never eat anything cold.
I used to prefer many things cold, but not any more.
With one exception: banana smoothies. I can't stand those when they warm up.

(Note: where I am room temperature is currently around 40C/105F)
Ive noticed the same thing. In the summer nothing is more delicious than a bunch of cold bananas and apples sprinkled with cinnamon. In the winter though I have to let my fruit sit out, otherwise I end up getting to cold.
Same here. If they're too cold, they hurt my teeth. Room temp is definitely the way to go!
I prefer room temperature for the most part with the exception of juicy apples. They seem more crisp slightly chilled. Also when I make banana pudding, Its much better cold. I think that it is more of a comfort thing usually. Like how I have replaced my comfort food of ice cream to cold banana pudding.
The apple thing is probably just because thats how i've always had them. If they are too cold they do hurt my teeth though.
Oh, I hate cold fruits. I hate many cold things, really. Unless it's hot out, I'll take room temperature.

I actually like my fruit cold too Ben! I've even been known to refrigerate things like ripe persimmons & bananas the night before I want to eat them so they'll be cold the next day! And also melons & mangoes...so good chilled!

Lately though, I've been trying some things at room temp (bananas, oranges, black sapote) & I've surprisingly enjoyed it. The only exception is tomatoes- those are definitely a room temp food.

I feel like it's a "no" to eat the majority of one's food cold but it just taste better to me that way & it's SO not the end of the world :)
my preference is the straight off the tree temperature, but sometimes i like cold.
actually i love a lot of my fruit cold, i put my oranges in there so when i juice them the OJ is nice and cool. although i have heard that really cold foods, like ice cream, can hurt the stomach lining. and i just had a whole bunch of banana papaya ice cream yesterday, (we just got our juicer back) :). im not sure if its true or not, but it didnt hurt my stomach, it just froze my teeth a bit.
I have a frozen banana ice cream addiction! I know that eating frozen food is not good, but frozen bananas are like heaven for me. I try to keep my frozen banana consumption to a minimum but it's sort of a comfort food to me. And when I'm craving some comfort food I figure it's better to eat banana ice cream instead of coconut, soy, or dairy ice cream. Hopefully I'll get over it eventually.

Other than that, I like most things room temp.
I like extremely ripe cavendish bananas chilled.
