I started the 811 diet 2/3/13. Im better than I was but still exhausted and glued to my couch. Im getting over 10g per KG of body weight and drinking water and am out in the sun as much as possible as well as supplementing b12. Im 85-95% 811. My mom keeps telling me to incorporate mind work along with my physical healing. But I just cant believe that if you get your arm wacked off that you can think yourself a new one. anyways I get tired easily, and just want my life back. any suggestions? how long did it take you to heal? did this diet help at all?
your mind is a powerful tool and will aid you tremendously throughout this process if you allow it to
Like Sagar said.
It is actually. Changed my life when I watched it freshman year of high school. Really it was a gateway into positive thinking and inner work.
I also find that I might not have energy, but if I can get myself to do something. Just one thing, and celebrate the victory of completing that task, that gives me more energy to do things. I use the accomplishment to give me momentum.
I had/sometime battle chronic fatigue and it is physically and mentally debilitating. I am new to the raw foods and am feeling better. But if you can, surround yourself with positive music, youtube videos, or radio and build up your energy from within while the whole foods nourish your body it can do wonders for you in the long run. Use this time now to make your mind even stronger so when your body is ready, you can go.
your very right! I watch the youtube videos for 811 dieting all the time it keeps me hopeful that one day I could be a runner or a biker...anyways great advice thank you!
What are you eating that's not 811?
I think you should give it time.
How many calories do you really get ? When you say "10g per kg", you're talking about carbs ? If so, good, else...
Honestly. When I eat the cooked carb, it really depresses my energy. When I go for a cooked potato or cooked rice meal I just have no energy. And cooked food in general causes inflammation in my shoulders. If you can afford all fruit, then dive in. And for salad dressings, I love mango and avocado. Or Mango or tomato.
Sleep! The only way to cure lack of rest is to rest. :) That and time will do the trick. :)
