I am very blessed to be making a trip to New Mexico in about a month to visit my aunt. It is going to be super fun, however, I'm a bit worried about food. I'll be taking a plane so I can't bring any food; I'm hoping I'll be able to bring dates onboard at least, to avoid expensive airport food. I'm staying in New Mexico for a week, though, so I'll need to stock up when I get there.
So, does anyone know of any (preferably cheap) produce stores/markets near Albuquerque?
Organic may be in short supply, but these places may offer some nice deals, including on overripe bulk nans
The Fruit Basket
(3)Sprouts, (2)Vitamin Cottage, (2)Whole Foods, (2)La Montanita Co-op, and Trader Joe's. No raw restaurants except in Santa Fe.
I live in Albuquerque, and I would definitely suggest the Fruit basket on fourth street and the pros ranch market on central and atrisco for conventional produce, and sprouts market for organic produce, some of the others are very pricy.. My names Brandon, if you need further help, my email is @ firstname.lastname@example.org, God bless..
Thank you everyone! I will definitely check out the Fruit Basket then, that sounds great. I usually get my organic stuff from dumpster diving because it is usually so expensive, and I'm just going to mostly forgo organic for the week I'll be in New Mexico. Wooot, thanks again! :D
