Alright so I've been HCLF Vegan for a year now and my cellulite only seems to get getting worse. I make sure to get 8 hours of sleep and to drink enough water. I'm doing well about increasing my calories because I used to be addicted to handfuls of diet pills an dnot eating very much. I'm at about 2,000 now on a goo dday and I'm improving. But I keep looking in the mirror and seeing new dimples and I don't know what I'm doing wrong? I enjoy lifting and have begun training for a half marathon, which including swimming, going on the elliptical and ya know running lol. It's just hard to look in the mirror and not relapse into old habits when I feel like my body is getting worse.
Any ideas? Or tricks that have worked for anyone? Please
I have had the same issue with dimpling, but the new dimples only come when I eat food with lots of salt or even if there is salt added. Salt causes fluid to accumulate below the skin, above the muscle and can look like cellulite/and or fat if it accumulates in a certain area. I would suggest no salt added and see if that helps. If you are not adding salt or monitor your sodium to make sure it is less than 1000mg perday, then the problem might be added fats like avocados, oils etc. Avocados are healthy, but maybe a half of one every now and then is okay. Hope this helps.
The other day I ate a whole papa john's vegan pizza (little sauce) and that's all on it, and I didn't realize that in the sauce they added heaps of salt so I ended up bloating out the next day with water retention. I am continuing to drink liters of water to dilute the salt and to wash it out. I think its helping!
ps. oh and it might also be that you are over examining yourself and you are already perfect!
Make sure you drink a quart of water when you wake up, and then drink lots of water before every meal, ending up you need 2-3 liters, 3 preferred.
I try to drin k about a gallon a day
That's perfect then :)
I cut out salt a while ago and it's still there:( But thanks for the tips!
No prob! Best of luck to you Kennedy!
ohhh dat celluliiite :D I've got it creepin up on me too. Not a lot but there used to be ZERO... but then again i was about 9% body fat... I'm pretty sure i'm closer in 18-20 range now that i'm not starving my body... Just give it time - keep running, cycling...being active and eating LOW FAT. that's my strategy... I'm giving myself a month with no FATS ( except those in fruit) and i wanna see how my cellulite goes... cuz i be piling on those avos and nuts in the beggining of this lifestyle hahaha silly meeee
