then go some where else! hurry! seriously!
im in ontario and we have good fruit here.... the smaller countys and rural areas may not have the best selection in the winter but in summer local farmers grow plenty of fresh fruits and veg... and if you move into a fairly big city i wouldnt doubt they all would have good oragnic fruit available :)
Definately doable. I've recently started this lifestyle and have been able to find lots of fruit choices at the majority of grocery stores. Hope you enjoy Canada if you decide to come. It's a beautiful country, I'd love to travel it coast to coast sometime.
British Columbia is great for fruit, especially in the summer/fall . Obviously there are lots of better countries for fruit, but you'll be completely fine :)
I am in Vancouver and we have plenty of fruits and greens! I am eating mangos, bananas, pairs, dates, and oranges at the moment. :)
I'm in the vancouver area as well and I recently discovered a organic online store that will give discounts on "harvest boxes" and they deliver everything to you the website is spud.ca !
I live in the province of Quebec, I move to Montreal in july, and yes, we have good fruits ! The berries are great. The melons too. and apples in fall !
we have good fruit you just need to know where to get it
Do your research beforehand otherwise you may be disappointed. The regular chain grocery stores generally suck with selection and prices.
Except in summer - awesome fruit, awesome prices.
It depends on the time of year, but in a couple of months the fruit will be spectacular. :) Lots of berries and melons.
