I'm off to Bali this week (from the UK) with my children and I've just been told by a friend that it's not possible to travel with fresh fruit due to the risk of micro bacteria spreading.
This is a bit of a problem for us as my children pretty much only eat fruit and vegetables and I'm not keen on them eating aeroplane food.
Has anyone else heard of this?
Thanks in advance x
I always take my own fruit and other food on international flights. They don't want you to bring the produce INTO the country, but it's OK if you eat it all on the plane. But I also heard that TSA can take it away sometimes, depends on the person/ airport, I guess. I personally never had a problem.
