as I have mentioned in a previous post, I have taken a break from the lifestyle (worst thing I have ever done! Feel so stupid!), and went back to eating processed crap. And with it came the disordered eating which I thought I was recovered from. So yeah... I starved myself after christmas, lost 15kg in 3 months and gained 10kg back, up until a week ago.
I hardly ate any natural foods during that time... Food addiction got me good this time... Looking back, I feel like I was in a coma, and only now came to my senses again.
Anyway, I CAN'T stop eating! I guess this is because my body is thinking "Finally I am getting the nutrients I need again, let's eat every fruit in sight!!" Whenever I feel like eating, I do. I am not rejecting myself any food and I really eat a lot every day. I think about 4000 calories a day and I could easily make that number even higher. I am planning to go on banana island starting tomorrow, to really get rid of the toxins. Have a few kilos of bananas waiting to be eaten! :)
Is banana island a good idea? And should I keep on eating that many calories? I am not worried about gaining weight, I just want to be healthy again. I stopped craving all that junk once I started eating more fruit. I just want to keep it raw though, no cooked food and veggies don't make me feel good right now. Every cell in my body keeps on yelling "more fruit!!!" :)
The problem with Banana island is that it leaves nutritional deficiency gaps, but for a short time I suppose it's ok.
when i first started for a very long time I could not eat enough. I was cranken in 5-6000 calories a day many days and i was still hungry i stuffed my face silly and despite that I still lost 10lbs. It took a while then things steadied out. So yeah the point is I guess if your hungry eat.
4000 is a great amount, many ladies eat that as their minimum. Banana island is how Dr. Doug starts out most folks, 10 days or more of just bananas, so yes, go for it! Just don't go for more than 6 months on any one fruit,` but you could last indefinitely on just bananas and lettuce. When do you plan on starting?
I'd not do it. Why restrict yourself to just one kind of fruit?
Eat a variety of fruits to get more nutrients...
You can also eat that much if you feel like it. Your appetite will eventually decrease and go back to normal.
I used to binge eat and destroy my health...my body was just messed up from eating all the wrong stuff...and it helped to go to church, get my money and relationships in order...its all connected. Having friends to hold you accountable is a big help as well.....if I don't take care of my health I know I have to answer to my friend Kim....
Exercise more, sleep more, drink 2Liters of water EVERY morning first thing....it all will help....
You don't want to stop eating by the way...if you stop eating you'll die...just eat the right stuff and stop starving yourself....you're trying to punish yourself for something that happened a long time ago, and you feel out of control so you are trying to "get control" by starving yourself. Let it go...you're killing yourself....change the way you think.
