This caption is on the July 2011 issue of Running Fitness magazine. The article is an interview with Tim VanOrden. I found it interesting that he guesses his daily consumption falls short of 2,000 calories, because "raw food is a much more efficient fuel." He also says he doesn't worry about his protein intake, because he gets some from the nuts and seeds he eats, but he calls protein a "middleman" in the process of getting amino acids, and he gets his directly from uncooked fruits and vegetables (take that, you protein-obsessed meat-heads!) Also in the article, the Raw Food Coach gives her top 10 tips for going raw.
