There is a web site that says you can buy B12 online without a prescription. http://www.b12-shot.com/ Does anyone know if this is a reliable source for B12? At $120 for a Dr visit I can't afford to go in for shots. I've heard that maybe the patches work, maybe not and that the sub-lingual does not work. Has anyone here tried the patches?
Thanks y'all !
Those are Cyanocobalamin injections, the Methylcobalamin type would be better at least that is what I have been reading. I am interested in getting B-12 supplement was looking at getting B-12 spray http://www.b12vegan.com/
Sorry I don't have any answer for you but would like to follow this to here what others have to say...
I am in Toronto, Canada, and I just went to the pharmacy counter and told her I would like to purchase B12 and the syringes. The B12 was like $5.00 and the syringes were lik 15.00. Why pay a Doctor, you can give yourself B12 shot.
@Sherry... I'm not in Canada. You have to have a prescription to get B12 here (Texas-USA). I already talked to Pharmacies here.
@Annette... I saw the B12 sprays (advertised by Dr Mercola on youtube to replace coffee-WTF? LOL) but I have heard sub-lingual doesn't work. So I figured the spray would not work. If you do try it please let me know how it works for you.
I give myself B12 Injections on my thigh. I am use to it now. I learned how to give myself injections when I was pregnant with my first child and I was gestational diabetes. So it wasnt scary. Ask him if he can show you how to do this. Its really easy once you get over the fear. Just take a deep breath....:)
Here's discussion about b12 sprays. I'm gonna go with the spray from the website I posted earlier. Hope this helps. <3
Methylcobalamin sublinguals work. Easiest, cheapest, solution out there. Worked for me, worked for friends and relatives, worked for many here. All backed up with before and after blood tests.
Just got back my mother's results. She went from 106 to 770 in a couple months.
Shots bypass the immune system, sublinguals are still bypassing your digestive system which is good but they still have to go through the important immune defense, the mucousal gland. This thread has some good info. on that: http://www.30bananasaday.com/forum/topics/does-anybody-know-if-doug...
Definitely read this book, it's really good, I was able to get a copy from the library:
We use nutrisorb as talked about here: http://www.30bananasaday.com/forum/topics/b12-source?commentId=2684...
@Chuckster ... What is the brand name and where did you get it please? Thanks :-)
I'm using Jarrow Methyl B12 1000mcg. Since my mother was so low, and MMA high, I had her using the nutrisorb product Ednshell talked about above in the morning, and the Jarrow product in the evening. Since she had such outstanding results, I just told her to use the one she prefers and we'll see what the next test looks like.
Great info ednshell, you are awesome!!
