I want to buy my bike from a store that will also fit me to the bike.
cycleworld says they do a bike fit with any purchase of a bike. which I like.
I want to know if there are other stores that also do this. so far, cycleworld looks like the best bet. I would like it to be free with it because I would rather not pay for a bike fit. Even if this one is not top notch, done by a uni professor that has been fitting bikes for 10 years... it should be good enough.
Cycleworld also says they :

So. First Question.
Are there any other bike stores, other than cycleworld, that also do bike fits, etc. ??
I'm moving to Sydney in a few days. very excited to leave WA, it's gonna be great riding in the blue mountains. that is why I'm looking for an alloy bike that is good. but most alloy bikes such as:
all have: Fork: Composite, Alloy OverDrive steerer or an
Fork: Advanced-grade composite, Hybrid OverDrive steerer
I'm not sure if I should be worried about that. not sure if I should try to get alloy fork. I don't plan on riding crazy offroad. but being able to ride on dirt would be nice if I wanted to ride on an easy trail. and hire a mountain bike on the odd chance I wanted to go mountain biking. I just don't really know how much I can push a cyclocross bike such as the giant TCX SLR 2.
That is why I listed those three bikes. not sure on which one to get.
I also don't understand which bike is best overall. e.g the giant tcr might have advanced compostite, while the others just have composite.
I also don't understand which is better. Hybrid OverDrive steerer, or the Alloy OverDrive steerer.
I'm looking for something that isn't going to snap mid downhill and plant me face first. durability is what matters to be over a few hundred grams.
tbh, I think I'm leaning towards the defy 1 or the giant TCX..
Just really need advice from some experienced cyclists. someone who knows what they are talking about. looking forward to being an active forum member over the coming years. cheers.
