hello 30 bad people. here in canada there is a 80/10/10 page on Facebook. recently someone asked how to get a copy of the book used or free. someone else told them it is available as a torrent on pirate bay. i thought it strange that the same folks post about how much they spend on dates and bananas when dr. graham's book is much less than their produce expenses plus his writing is the reason they are bonding on this facebook page over their health goals. i pointed this out and people became hostile with me for judging them. the person who recommended getting it free through pirate bay complained that they are poor and i should understand. thoughts?

I requested a copy to be purchased by my local library which they did.
I was the first to borrow it. Hopefully many other people will borrow it.
I wish there will be a nook and/or kindle version of this book soon.
I bought an eBook version from foodnsport, maybe it fits for you as well:
OMG that is so awesome thank you so much for the link! Last time it was only on PDF version. Now I can have it on my nook.
I got it for free, and then bought it when my mom went to the USA.
I can only imagine the amount of work that Dr. Doug Graham has put into creating his book and all of the knowledge he needed to attain to create it even though I haven't read it. But I think people getting the information is more important than him making a profit off of it. I know nothing about how he lives so he could very well need the money very badly. And in that case I may be against people getting it for free. But it seems that from what i've read about how he lives a few books for free to people that are in desperate search for knowledge isn't that big of a deal. I mean, I doubt the masses are stealing thousands of his books daily. That's a little exaggerated. (And I know noone said that). And besides, do people not deserve this lifestyle that most on here have again and again testified for just because they couldn't pay for a book? Even if they could pay for it and didn't want to pay for it. Does the world not deserve the change just because people were more willing to steal it than by it? This isn't specifically directed to anyone here. I'm just talking to everyone in general and pondering the issue! Much love and good luck to you all!
download it for free from piratebay = stealing. People claiming to be poor to justify their stealing is not an excuse. They are mearly trying to rationalize and condone their behavior.
1. Poor people stealing a $30 book online? I don't think so. They have to own a computer, and it cost way more than $30. Stealing is stealing, EVERY TIME.
2. If you would like to put me out of business, steal from me.
3. Property is property. There are three types of property, but only one type of stealing. Stealing is ALWAYS wrong. Your body is your own property. Your physical belongings are your own property. Your intellectual property is yours, and yours alone. Stealing any amount of any type of property can never be justified as right behavior. No one wants to be stolen from, ever. Let's think "Golden Rule."
4. I would ask anyone who cares about The 80/10/10 Diet and the books I have planned to release in the future to notify me personally if they ever see illegal downloads of my materials. Usually we kindly just ask the people to take the torrents down, and they do so.
golden rule rawks
I had already bought the book and had it and read it, then I searched one of my favourite sites - the pirates bay. And realized I could've saved money on it, and paper. I don't feel bad for stealing certain things. Especially when I know the person selling it is already rich. I'd rather save my money and buy some bananas! Sorry if that makes me a cheap person.
"Sorry if that makes me a cheap person"
It doesn't make you cheap. It makes you a thief who is rationalizing poor behavior "I don't feel bad for stealing certain things. Especially when I know the person selling it is already rich."
How can you write that and not question your own set of standards and morals?
How many people are poorer than you? Is it ok for someone that is poorer than you to steal from you as they might consider you rich?
I seriously hope that you are able to mature out of your current mindset.
Theft is theft no matter what you tell yourself.
