I'm transitioning into this lifestyle and loving every energy filled moment. This is my third transitional week and I must say I'm having a lot of trouble staying away from bread. I did great the first 10 days, broke down, had a bagel, and haven't been able to avoid it since. So, my question is, have you found any fruits or tricks that help you avoid the dreaded bread temptation?
Eating more dates really helps with my bread cravings for some reason. But I think eating more in general would do the trick :)
ive been struggling with this too lately...Im in the middle of a cycle of not having enough fruit on hand so I grab bread..I need to shake it...
i think it's baisically starches we're craving when we want cooked or anyhow fire treated carbs. and although i think that bananas are starchy, they don't seem as dense as dates. and that's why i eat a lot of dates. they're real good friends of mine.
