30 Bananas a Day!

My #1 issue with Fruitarianism is that I absolutely CANNOT drink alcohol while living this lifestyle. Booze Fruit is not sustainable! And RawTill4 and alcohol is better but not great (mostly because eating fruit hungover the next morning is unbearably nauseating). I understand I'm "under-carbed to reach for alcohol," but I don't ever crave alcohol. The reason I drink is because of my social life, I'm a cocktail waitress and my best friends are party girls. I'm searching for a balance between Fruitarianism & Vodka. Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated!

i'm gonna say there isnt a balance. If you have to ask it says you could be having issues. waking up hungover is not a sign of drinking balanced. 

I dont mean any ill with my comments but this is coming from the perspective of someone whos had issues with booze in the past. Finding balance is not always possible and waking up hungover for me was not a sign of normal drinking.

It has been difficult for me to give up drinking, as I was used to doing it almost everyday, social or otherwise. I am a musician, and playing shows in bars means lots of free drinks..I guess I got used to that lifestyle. I will say, though, that after completely quitting and making no excuses, I feel SO much more balanced..emotionally and physically.
I know it's hard, but if you are serious about your health, consider weening yourself off the vodka. Try some "mocktails" every now and again...no one even has to know! I think you'll be surprised by how easy it is to socialize without alcohol, and by how good you'll feel never waking up with a hangover.

Drinking alcohol is a compromise, period.  You need to decide what you prioritize--your health or some perceived social status.  

Doesn't mean you need to give up your friends, but you may benefit from hanging around more with those who support your long term goals.  Only you can determine what those are.

6 years raw vegan now, I only drink alcohol at a party or special event. My vegan friend is unfortunately a alcoholic :(

I think you just have to make your own decisions but know there will be consequences. If you enjoy going and having a few drinks once in a while i dont see it as a big deal, Just dont make it a regular thing if you wanna stay in tip top shape ....but the occasional drink isnt gunna ruin all your good efforts.

And if you cant handle fruit in the morning have a high carb cooked breakfast and then get back on the waggon the next day. However if your only having a couple of drinks you really shouldnt feel too bad the next day. Drink lots of water before bed too if you drink :)
