My name's Claire and I'm a fresh newbie to the HCLF vegan lifestyle!! yaay!
I just wanted to know some of your thoughts on Boost Juice?? I've worked at Boost for almost 5 years in Melbourne and I know they use dairy but what do you guys think about their juices or just in general :)
Let me know what you're thinking! :)
I don't drink any juices that are pasteurized, heating up the juice kills all the nutrients that I need...the juice I make in my house with my Omega 8004 beats all the pasteurized crap no offense....unfortunately they have to pasteurize all their stuff because 1 out of a million people gets sick from all natural raw juice and they don't want to get sued...
Dairy and heated? gonna have to say Nay.
I think they are ok to use sometimes to increase calories and to make fruit tasty in smoothie or out on the go
for example yesterday I had organic bananas and organic concord grape juice smoothie 600cals from banana 200 from juice
its another flavor and makes things interesting and tasty
of course fresh fruit is best as it has not been processed& has all fiber etc.....
i drink a little juice for taste majority of my cals from whole fruit but to eat lots of whole fruit i spice it up from time to time ..
Thanks for all the awesome thoughts guys!!
I take no offense at all haha but I don't really understand what you mean by heated and pasteurised because we cut and juice fresh fruit and vegies for the jucies each day and we don't heat them? haha
