I have been doing HCRV on and off for a little while but have finally decided to go full out HCRV as of 5/19/12. I figured if I'm going to do this I may as well do it the right way. I stopped using deodorant, soap, shampoo & conditioner, toothpaste, hair sprays, perfumes and lotions of any sort. Here's the question: What do I do about shaving? Am I supposed to just dry shave my legs and other areas or is there something on the natural side that I can use to make it easier on my skin. Also does any one know of any good places that sells vegan products like toothbrushes or other things like hair dye and nail polish(my husband likes it when I get pedicures and dye my hair but it looks like I'll be doing these things myself from now on). Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
I sugar-wax at a beautician, everything goes! She uses oil afterwards, i'm not sure if it's vegan, but from a guess, it's sugar and wax and oil, so it should be.
Olive oil or coconut oil work as a shaving oil. Also your legs are lovely and soft after. LUSH sell natural hair dyes made from henna.
As for nails I don't know sorry other than just buffing them with an old school buffer and using almond oil to mosturise (its what they put in those over priced nail oils)
Thanks for the feedback. This has been very helpful :)
