30 Bananas a Day!

Hey guys,

 

I've been having this bloating issue ever since going raw 80.10.10 3 months ago. I drink a litre of water when I wake up before I have anything to eat, then usually a monomeal of 15 bananas or so, another litre around lunch with another mono meal and then I usually sip a litre of water for the rest of the day, and have a huge salad of greens for dinner. I look like I'm 24/7 pregnant, even when I wake up (my mom actually asked me if I was!!), before I went raw I was vegan for 8 months and didn't eat a lot of processed foods, I ate basically raw foods, oatmeal and rice w/ lentils and bloated less then.. Is it because I'm eating way more than I used to? I get around 2500-3000 calories a day, I haven't had any detox symptoms when I started because I was already detoxed from being 60% raw vegan for 8 months, it's very strange, I don't know what to do and I defenitly want to stay raw!!

in my big salad I put lots of greens like lettuce, cucumbers, and some onions, and that's about it, with some carrots too, a huge bowl full of that stuff!

onions? lol! They should be called blonions! 

 

Sounds like you got REALLY sensitive digestion if your all the way over here in 811 world. I know me and Free can tolerate a BIT of spice now and then (every few months) but doing it more than that affects our HYPER sensitive digestion.

 

 

It might be the fiber at night, it might be a lot if things. Try having a more water rich dinner, maybe melon, and you'll pee all night, and hopefully wake up with a lighter stomach. I sometimes crave those veggies earlier in the day, after my afternoon fruit meal, then two hours later or so, i go for as much melon as i can. The result is excellent hydration and a big bowel movement in the morning. :)

I think it might be the bananas, because when I started I ate around 25 bananas a day and I was bloating, and I thought it would go away, but it never has, so I'll try without for a while and subsitute dates, thanks!! :)

Yo!!!!! Me too!!!! I loved eating all those nanas... but I sure got bloated too!!!! Almost like I was getting cellulite in my tummy and legs!!!!! Water retention?!?!?? I stopped the beginning of this past week and things are much better now! Thank God. But I do think I was gaining from them, cause my tummy is still all soft and smooshy :( I was loving the smoothies and frozen nanas, but now I am substituting with mangos,  pineapple, and peaches. Feeling much better! ;) I'd love to know if there are others who have a nana sensitivity????

How much are you sleeping? I find that I bloat WAY more when I'm not getting enough sleep. If you're constantly sleep-deprived, I wouldn't be surprised that you were bloated all the time. Try getting a "sick" amount of sleep for a few days (10-12 hours) and see if that helps.
I'm getting around 9-10 hours of sleep each night, and I always get a pretty good sleep, but I'll defenitly try to get up to 12 hours, I hope it will help!
Oooooh I am thinking sleep does have something to with it, tooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trying to get more sleep though! Hope it helps us all  :)
the food combining is pretty good, I usually have monomeals exept for a huge salad I have consisting of lettuce, carrots, cucumbers and some onions, I feel like I'm doing ok in that part haha
