Before everyone shouts that we don't need supplementation let me say that I fervently agree with you all BUT.......
I have Crohns Disease and so far have managed to stop all medication by eating a high raw diet. However, I already had osteopenia - thinning bones but not broken any yet - in my 30's, I'm mid 50's now . Long distance running has helped keep my hips and lower limbs strong but yesterday I BROKE A BONE in my foot and the doctor thinks the Crohns could be a factor as many people with the disease suffer a degree of bone loss. Therefore in addition to all my dark leafy greens and sesame seeds etc I want to supplement short term. Please can someone tell me if I need D3 on its own or in a combination of other D vitamins. Also if anyone knows of a good brand that I can get in the UK.
