When I was younger I loved this one dipping sauce that my mom would make. It was a yogurt sauce with sugar & cinnamon and we would cut up apple slices and dip them in it. I would always look forward to it especially during the fall when apples are at their prime.
Now, of course, I would never consider eating yogurt again. However I recently made a cruelty-free version of this recipe that is surprisingly similar and just as (if not more) delicious :) It's quite simple too!
8-10 large medjool dates
1/4+ tsp cinnamon
Blend up the sauce (using water as needed) and serve with apple slices. Yum! Such a delicious snack!
This recipe definitely is the best food combining, but it's good as a once in a while treat if your digestion can handle it :)
