The best one I have ever tasted was a little durain from thai friend"s garden. I think it was called kadum.
Two days ago I visited another thai garden and there was a huuge durain tree, over 100 years old, I have never seen such as big durain tree. The friend said it is very expensive and rare variety, because its very difficult to grow. Unfortunately it was just blossoming. However he invited me for the harvest:D Im going back to europe in the middle of april, hopefully it will be ripe at that time:) I didnt understand the name of the variety, but its was something like borum or bolum. Has anybody tasted it?
