Have you experienced being able to turn off the mental dialogue, aka monkey mind, after being on fruit a while?
You know, turning off the constant inner verbalization of our thoughts.
The thoughts themselves come as impulses, they are wordless, pure impressions. But then our mind often runs off with putting words on those impressions. One thought can lead down a whole avenue of sentences and dialogue etc, filling up our mind with stressing restless junk.
Well, last time I went on a fruit diet I experienced being able to switch off this. At the very end of the time I spent on that diet (almost half a year), in the transition back to a vegetarian diet I had a short period where I noticed how draining it was verbalizing my thoughts and I got to choose to stop doing it.
It was GREAT!!! All my negative feelings suddenly vanished with my inner dialogue, I stopped reacting with anger and stress to everyday stuff that usually triggered me. Instead I just felt bliss and joy!
But as the vegetarian diet polluted my body and mind I lost the mental clarity after less than a couple of weeks. And so I fell back to the usual stressful state.
The reason I didn't experience this peaceful mind before the transition was because I was unable to eat enough calories on fruit. I had began suffering from intense pain when eating just small meals of sweet fruit and this is also the reason I had to stop eating it (with a clear intention to go back when I figure out how).
But during the transition period from fruit to veg my body was still clean enough and since I now ate enough calories, I got to reap the benefits for a little while.
Fast forward almost two years and I am back on fruit again. I have found a way to eat enough calories from just fruit, and so this ability of clear mind has suddenly returned again. Jay!!
This is a life changer for me, it is really huge. I have suffered so much from stressful mindfuck and now this just dissipates as I can just turn it off.
So I am wondering if anyone else have similar experience?
Btw, how I eat enough calories is that I blend a little green leaves into my sweet smoothies. It slows down the absorption of the sugar enough to not trigger the pain. And I believe after enough time on this diet this sensitivity to high blood sugar will disappear as my body heals itself more.
