My before and after pics are on my blog
thats quite a transformation given that it came out from doing 'yoga'... impressive!!....can you be quantitative about how much calories were you eatn and whether you were counting protein(grams) or not ?
I don't know exactly how many calories, but my diet for 1 month was pretty similar everyday. 2 Green smoothies a day. each with 12 bananas/ or less banana and some papaya, a cup of sultanas, and a huge handful of greens and herbs; including- nasturtium, parsley, comfrey, varieties of lettuce, fennel, baby kale, herb robert, yarrow. All grown bio dynamically and picked fresh each day. snacked on about 5 apples and 5 mandarins throughout the day. Then for dinner was a Huge salad, with a 5 mandarin and 2 tsp tahini dressing. There was more variety than that, and not always that many calories. No idea about how much protein, but I was eating a ridiculous amount of greens, because they taste sooo good young and fresh!
I'm coming up on 6 months LFRV, and I've lost just over 190 lbs :) I wanted to post some before photos and a few photos that were taken here recently:
I forget exactly when these pictures were taken, but I was sitting around 450-460 lbs. On April 15, 2012 which was day 1 of my transition I weighed in at 455.4 lbs. For the longest time I was addicted to food and I was always depressed. I finally got to a point where I was sick and tired of being sick and tired; I needed to start doing something about it.
- Blood Pressure was always around 180/90.
- Cholesterol was 270 mg/dl taken a year ago.
- Type 2 diabetic.
- Zero energy.
These pictures were taken within the last week at 263 lbs.
- Blood Pressure 131/75 taken 7 weeks ago.
-Cholesterol 185 mg/dl taken 10 weeks ago.
- Type 2 diabetes is gone.
-Energy through the roof!
I'll update again here when I hit the one year mark :)
