30 Bananas a Day!

I bought a natural loofah on a stick from Whole Foods instead of the plastic loofah's from Wal-Mart. I figured it would scrub me better, the plastic loofah just didn't feel like it was doing anything without suds. Everything was great until a week later I realized it stinks now, went poo free and now my loofah smells like poo, lol. Is there anything I can do to it to make it not stink without chemicals? What else could I bath with? What do you guys bath with? I'd like to stay as natural as possible, my friend on facebook posted a link awhile back, I think it was a natural sea sponge. I think the loofah stinks because you can't really squeeze it out good since it's so stiff. On the bright side, I've only been at it for a week and I don't stink and don't have bad oily hair, but my dandruff is still bad as ever and I have dry skin as usual. I actually haven't used shampoo or body wash for over a year, but I used a product called enviro-one that's made from plant enzymes. It can be used to wash your body, brush your teeth, wash clothes or dishes, even as a degreaser depending on how you dilute it. Enough of the rambling, any input would be great. Thank you!!!

If you wash it and try to dry it as much as possible after each use, and use a few drops of tea tree drops hopefully that will cut down the smell :) I use a bath mitt and a soap made of pure olive oil.
I want to be as natural as possible, don't think we had access to olive oil 4k years ago. Thanks for the advice though.
Makes sense, but does your body adjust to not scrubbing the dirt and oil out of your pores? Will my blackheads just fade away or what? I take very hot showers and then towards the end I transition it to cold. I'm thinking this could be bad since we really wouldn't have access to very hot water in nature, but it sure helps get the oil out of your hair. I'm also thinking the hot water may be one of the causes of my dandruff. I really want to know how to shower naturally, and my dandruff and dry skin go away. I know it may be too soon to expect results, but I need to know what I'm doing wrong so I can change that. I also use a chlorine filter, but I think it's time to replace it.
I brush my skin with a dry brush before I get in the shower. I don't use any sponge or brush in the shower- just water. Since my dry brush is never wet it doesn't get smelly.

The longer you do the diet, the less smell will come from your body as you get detoxed and clean.  In the mean time, for dandruff, oil, and smell, try baking soda.  About one teaspoon in your hand with a few drops of water will feel and act like shampoo.

Peace, PK

BTW, I do not use any clothes or brushes, just plain water now.  Peace, PK
I don't have odor problems, just what I listed. Usually one of my nostrils is clogged so I bet the mucous could be the culprit. I tend to eat hummus with little or no fat when I get bad cravings, I wonder if that can cause me issues. I do not eat it even on the weekly basis and trying to stay away from it.

Be dedicated to a hygenic lifestyle and you will see the changes you are looking for - no more dry skin, elimination of acne issues, and clear nostrils.

Stop showering so much too - it is not necessary, nor natural.  If using really hot water it is going to affect your skin.

Just some thoughts.  All the best.

I figured the hot shower was bad, the reason I stared taking them was so I could sweat and breathe in the steam, it helps me cough up any debris I have inhaled throughout the day. Isn't it necessary to shower after a hard sweaty day?

Actually a cold shower is really good for you- it increases your immune system and metabolism, and you breathe in less evaporated flouride/chlorine.  You will have more energy and sleep better.

You don't need to scrub with any brush- youre just stripping your skin of its natural oils.  I wash with almond oil and it feels great.
