Ok first of all, I have never really had an eating disorder, and have maybe only calorie restricted for a total of a year in my whole life. I am 22 year old female, 5 ft 8, 139 pounds.
Recently, and I mean in the past week, I have noticed slight fat loss, where my jeans and clothes fit looser. I don't really pay attention to the scale, it is just annoying.
For the past 2.5 months, I have been slamming in the high carb low fat calories (vegan of course!) coming from mainly fruit, and then cooked carbs at night. I usually end up eating around an average of 3100 calories per day! I feel though that I can eat more. Meaning, I don't restrict, but I don't constantly feel stuffed like I'm going to throw up after each meal. I am never hungry and consistently get my calories in. I maybe did gain 2 pounds in the beginning, but I think it was because I had more salt and fat in my diet to start with.
I am so happy that my metabolism is finally starting to jumpstart! I have truly been on this lifestyle (without messing up) for 3 months. In the beginning, it was hard for me to fathom that I could actually LOSE FAT by eating more, but you lose fat because your metabolism gets fired up and starts burning the leftover fat stores you have.
This is great! I will continue to slam in the carbs every day and see if it speeds up the results, more than I see now, but eating more and more.
Just keep it up everyone, and you will see results. It only took me around 3 months to see some results, patience!
yep this is how do it around here
