What about temporary drops in iron levels after large b12 intake. Is that something that happens a lot? You dont mention it as potential drawback, but I did experience this
Its a bit like getting sore muscles after starting new exercise. Its no big deal and varies from person to person.

Great advice, will definitely be looking into doing the jabs myself.  Diggin your shirt, what does it say?

the main question:why just one single vitamin? It doesn't make sense...

I mean if we kill some bacteria with pesticides or by keeping everything sterile or whatever then chances are there are others nutrients missing so how do we find out?

They say when you have a deficiency then it's already too late so by following this logic when another book "could it be be13" comes up we should be getteng b13 just in case and so on.
This is something I don't really get. I mean it's great to be able to avoid deficiency  so I'm not against b12 but I 'm not convinced either (yet, maybe).

I used to think like that too Steven. But why not just take care of the obvious than worry about what we dont know. Its like if you have a crack in the floor, fix it and aim to treat the floor better in future vs taking no action cos we are worried about the doors/windows etc.

 

 

Sublinguals worked for me - I had to stop taking them for a while because my B12 got too high!. And I have no intrinsic factor, according to tests.
Remember that b12 levels can fluctuate massively over just 2 weeks.
very cool and timely video DR, I have one question for you, you mentioned that in the book they recommend B12 injections for 7 days then 1 a month after that. I never did that and I still have strong caffeine cravings - is the 7 days in a row designed at rebuilding adrenals ? I'm pretty sure mine are still very borderline at best.
Caffeine is classed as a neurotoxin and yeah, it might take a while for the coffee drugs to get out of the system. Get more early nights, carb up and keep on cruzing. :)
In my experience you don't really get caffeine cravings so much as negative withdrawal symptoms such as headache and fatigue. I've done some experimenting recently and even having as little as 50mg of caffeine in 1 day can lead to withdrawal symptoms 3 or 4 days later. The half-life in the body can be a normal 5 hours or up to 10 hours depending on your condition and gender. Your cravings may not be for caffeine but for the habit of drinking something like coffee or tea.

Can you send me a link Mel regarding the claims that Thimerosal are in b12 shots. Ive 'heard it' but after a few years looking, Ive never seen anything other than rumours on forums etc.

 

Ive asked doctors, companies, anti vaccine crew, pernicious anemia patients etc and NEVER had it confirmed that b12 shots contain mercury.
