Insanity would give you ripped abs, no crunches involved!
i'm currently using insanity to increase my fitness for football. I've tweaked it so that my rest periods are similar or slightly longer than working periods. However, whichever way you use insanity, it works your body in so many ways that you will get all round tighter / fitter / stronger. I've got a lot of praise for it.
Calories varies from one individual to the next like you know, but i suppose you could burn upwards of 500 calories, even pushing 1000 calorie mark doing it. So as a basis i'd say consume 1000 more calories than the number that makes you feel gooood on a non exercise day. Make sure you get lots of cals in soon after the workouts too.
I personally need around 4000 calories to feel good the next day, so tend to have 5000 cals on workout days.

I'll be travelling a lot for work in october, it's gonna be tough... :)
I'm in too. I've been 100% much of the time but not all and would love to commit to October. I work out every other day, walk most days, yoga before bed but would like to add in more fun exercise (hiking, basketball) on my non workout days. Have 3 kids so very busy anyway. Main downfall is finding the time to eat and then being hungry and then giving in to cravings, that's what I need to really work on. When I do slip it's popcorn or corn chips.
I really want to be 100% and stop with all the hemming and hawing. Let's do it!!

I, like Mary, having a very busy life and am trying to stay 100% but when i dont get time to eat enough i fall off the wagon. I'll commit to 100% for october that way i have to plan to succeed rather than plan to fail.
